Bethel schools to be featured on TV
BETHEL -- Bethel schools will be featured as part of a documentary that Connecticut Public Television will air Feb. 2 at 8:30 p.m. A film crew talked to Bethel educators about two months ago about the work they are doing to eliminate the achievement gap among students in Connecticut.

Police: Woman stole from Bethel company
BETHEL -- An Oxford woman has been charged with embezzling more than $50,000 from a Bethel-based medical products maker, police said. Michele Saad, 41, is accused of siphoning the money from Memry, an international manufacturer of nitinol-based medical and industrial devices, according to police.
